Architect builds on China contract win

East Midlands architect Stephen George International has signed an agreement with the Chengxin Group in China to work on low carbon building projects.

Stephen George International, which has offices in both Leicester and Nottingham, will help develop low carbon building projects in Shanghai.

David Taylor, managing director of Stephen George International, said: “I am inspired by the Chengxin Group’s total commitment to low carbon technology and delighted to have this opportunity to collaborate with them and to further develop low carbon technology in the construction industry”.

The Chengxin Group works in energy saving technology, development and construction in China, specialising in the research, application and implementation of energy saving for the construction industry.

The agreement was signed on a trade visit organised by the East Midlands Economics Online’s, China Business Bureau to Shanghai and South West China earlier this year.
