Overview

Renewable energy is an increasingly important topic, with a rapid rise in the number of wind farms being established. The North Sea has been designated as the main growth area for wind turbines required to meet renewable energy targets, and England’s East Midlands already boasts several wind farms along its Lincolnshire coast, with thousands more approved off the East Midlands coastline.

The region is a thriving hub of activity in this industry, with an exciting mix of global players, renowned UK companies and emerging specialist firms coming together to make use of the area’s excellent resources and facilities.

The region's industrial hinterland is within easy reach of the two key ports of Grimsby and Lowestoft. And with major new wind farms planned for Essex, Lancashire and Scotland, we are ideally placed to reach all of these locations, with a cluster of distribution hubs in the area putting companies in easy reach of all parts of the UK by road and rail.
